Two Orus Plus Satellite Vehicles on CNG Chassis

Two compacting satellite vehicles with Orus Plus bodies delivered for municipal waste collection in Trøndelag. The vehicles are built on Iveco Eurocargo with CNG engines (compressed natural gas) for lower emissions.

The Solution

The Orus Plus is a compact compacting body designed for satellite vehicles. Mounted on the Iveco Eurocargo ML120EL with CNG drive, it provides an environmentally friendly solution for waste collection in narrow city streets and urban centres.

The satellite vehicles collect waste locally and deliver it to transfer points where it is loaded onto larger vehicles for onward transport. This is an efficient solution in areas where full-size refuse collection vehicles have difficulty accessing.

The CNG-powered chassis contributes to significantly lower local emissions, which is particularly beneficial in densely built-up areas.

Both vehicles have been delivered and prepared for daily operation in municipal waste collection.
